Site Design

Anything you can provide in the way of a design brief that will help us create a site that looks and feels right for you. Some useful things to include are:

  • Logos – Ideally as a high quality digital file
  • Preferred fonts and colours
  • Some descriptive words that help define the image or nature of your business and online identity

Examples: Clean / Fresh, Progressive / Modern, Youthful / Agile, Rational / Precise, Dreamy / Romantic, Intellectual / Serious

Links to other websites that you like or dislike

Explore the internet and make note of the sites you like or dislike, features that you find useful or attractive and similar websites or competitor sites. It is important to remember that many websites are developed on a massive budget, so be realistic with your expectations.

Domain Name

If you have an existing domain name we will require account access details in order to make the new site live on that domain name. If you require new domain names to be registered please let us know.

Structure or Site Map

Provide a written document that outlines that outlines the desired structure of the pages in your site and the possible ways of accessing the different pages. If appropriate also indicate which pages accessible to registered members/clients only.

Functional Requirements

Provide information about the features you would like to include in your site. This includes the features that are intended for your own business use and for use by end users and partners. An example of the sorts of features you may require:

  • Products, online ordering and accounting
  • Currency, discount and affiliate program

Please provide some indication of the desired delivery or launch date.

Project Budget

We take a very straight forward approach when it comes to business and we need to know if your expectations relate to the amount of money you are looking to spend. Once we determine a customers budget it allows us to comfortably work together knowing we are both thinking the same thing. If the budget doesn’t match your expectations, we can explain what we can do for you within the proposed budget and perhaps even create a long term plan that starts out with a lower cost for a smaller set of goals and then grow that foundation as funds become available and systems prove themselves.
